A brief summary from Janice Thompson:
Katie Fisher is ecstatic. Pro basketball star Brady James has proposed, and she can’t wait to start planning their life together. She’s confident she’ll make it down the aisle this time–but it still may be easier said than done.

A high-society Houston bride has Katie and the Cosmopolitan Bridal team scrambling to get the perfect dress done in time for her spectacular wedding. Meanwhile, Katie finds herself bombarded with everyone’s competing visions regarding her own special day–and she’s beginning to worry that her own ideas will get lost in the crossfire. Will she ever manage to settle all of the details for her perfect day? Or will bridal shop chaos and overzealous friends and family make a mess of everything?

My Thoughts:
Dum dum da-dum
Dum Dum Da-dummm

I hear wedding bells!! And you will too when you pick up Janice Thompson’s latest Brides With Style novel, Every Bride Has Her Day.

As Katie and Brady begin the process to walk down the aisle in holy matrimony, things should be a piece of cake! Yummy, delicious, 3 tiered wedding cake. Right? Wrong! The closer their big day gets, the more chaos ensues! Katie can’t say no to any suggestions thrown her way, Lori-Lou is struggling with postpartum depression, and Aunt Alva can’t figure out who is speaking over Bluetooth in the car. Let’s not even mention the fact that the people of Fairfield are at odds with one another and not even speaking! It’s enough to make any bride seriously contemplate running away and eloping!

I enjoyed reading Every Bride Has Her Day for the simple fact that it neatly wrapped up the trilogy and story and I was left feeling happy and satisfied! 🙂 However, I do wish there had been more interaction between Katie and Brady in this final book. I felt their relationship was missing when compared to how often they interacted in the previous two novels, and I didn’t like how separated they seemed during wedding planning. Brady was off doing his own thing while Katie was handling everything – this just bothered me.  But beyond this, I really enjoyed the delightful twists and turns that Janice Thompson included and I was really happy to see how everything turned out for these two lovely characters.

Amazon currently has this on sale for $8.06 for paperback! What a steal! Click the photo below to purchase yourself a copy:

I was graciously provided a free hard-copy of this novel from Revell in exchange for an honest review.  I was not required to write a positive review and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
