A brief summary from Lynette Eason:
Katie Singleton, a partner with the Elite Guardians Protection Agency, stumbles upon her next assignment quite by accident. Spotting blue lights at a familiar restaurant, she stops to investigate, only to discover that owner Daniel Matthews has become the target of someone who will go to any lengths to put him out of business.

Daniel might be concerned, but he’s not convinced that a bodyguard–and a female one at that–is necessary. A new attack and his niece’s urgings are enough to make him reconsider. He and Katie must figure out who’s behind the intimidation and threats–before a would-be killer strikes again.

My Thoughts:
DO NOT, under any circumstances, begin reading Without Warning right before bed!! You will not get any sleep as adrenaline pumps through your entire being, and you’ll jump at every creak and crack you hear, ready to fend off whatever low-down skum is slinking through your house.

Oh..no? You don’t get scared while reading suspense? You say that’s just me when reading great suspense novels??! Well kudos to you – I wish I had your bravery!!

Speaking of bravery – all hail Katie Singleton, bodyguard and partner in the Elite Guardians Protection Agency. This quick-witted woman is fiercely protective, excels at her job, and will do everything in her power to protect and serve her clients. In fact, while on her way to a much needed vacay, Katie stops to investigate a restaurant on fire. A restaurant that has a dead body inside. And the owner? None other than the handsome, swoon-worthy, former marine Daniel Matthews, uncle to one of her students. But who is targeting Daniel and why? Daniel soon finds himself under the protection of the Elite Guardians Protection Agency as they try to solve who is attacking his restaurants.

With its non-stop action, ever-building suspense, and just a tad of romance, Without Warning will leave your heart racing, nerves jumping, and you’ll probably find yourself looking in every closet and under every table to get the “all clear” before settling in for the night. I highly recommend grabbing a copy of Without Warning for yourself. Your personal library will thank you for it. 🙂

I was graciously provided a free copy of this novel from Revell in exchange for an honest review.  I was not required to write a positive review and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
